The simplest ideas are most often the best. Without reinventing the web, VW, or rather Crispin, Porter and Bogusky, started some tools to communicate about the whole VW car range.

The campaign is called “Meet the Volkswagens” and analyzes your Twitterfeed in a banner and your facebook profile. Based on this information a car out of the Volkswagen range is recommended. I wonder what kind of engine behind these simple tools really are able to suggest a car. It’s probably pretty random and simple but still a nice and effective idea. I got a GTI recommendation, was rather expecting a Phateon. But that’s not on the list, that’s why.
